Middle school dispute in Grand Island motivates adult family members to commit armed robbery, police say

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Police say a middle school dispute motivated adult family members to commit a robbery over the weekend.
According to police, officers were dispatched on Sunday to a report of an assault. A 21-year-old man told them that three men wearing black hoodies and one wearing a black bandana had entered his home.
According to the victim, the man wearing the back bandana threatened him with a gun. The victim said they took a speaker, silver chains and clothes. He identified two of the intruders as 19-year-old Imer Yair Cabrera and 19-year-old Carlos Bejarano-Rodriguez.
According to police, this was a targeted situation. Investigators say the robbery stemmed from a dispute that some of their family members were having in middle school.
Officers located and arrested Cabrera and Bejarano-Rodriguez. Cabrera was charged with robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony and Bejarano-Rodriguez with robbery.
