HASTINGS, Neb. — Authorities are releasing more information about a drug bust that led to eight arrests in Hastings.

Over the past couple of months, the Hastings Police Department says officers arrested several people for meth possession that have left a house at 114 University Ave. The department also received several tips from people in the neighborhood about possible criminal activity at the house.

Police served a search warrant at the house on Friday at 5:30 p.m. A news release says tactical response team members tried to order the residents out for several minutes, but only two people complied. Officers then deployed chemical irritants into the house and removed eight other people.

The following people were arrested:

Melissa Lehn, a 39-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and obstructing a police officer.

Martin Hord, a 25-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and obstructing a police officer.

Jorge Turrubiates, a 39-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and obstructing a police officer.

Kearstan Metcalf, a 20-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for obstructing a police officer.

Auner Molina-Lopez, a 46-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for obstructing a police officer.

Brandon Seabaugh, a 28-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for obstructing a police officer.

Dennis Holland, 43-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for obstructing a police officer.

Sean Kelly, a 56-year-old Hastings resident, was arrested for obstructing a police officer
