Arrest made in connection to fatal Highway 281 crash

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Police say a man is in custody and has been charged with motor vehicle homicide.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Gary Williams of St. Paul on Wednesday.
The arrest is the result of last week's fatal crash at the intersection of Highway 281 and White Cloud Road.
According to police it has been determined that the SUV driven by Williams was traveling eastbound on White Cloud Road, where it failed to stop at the stop sign, entered the intersection and was struck by a car traveling north on Highway 281.
The hit car had four passengers and the driver. The front seat passenger, Darren Findley, was pronounced dead at scene.
The driver and two other adult passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital. An infant passenger was unharmed.
Williams has been charged with motor vehicle homicide, three counts of DUI, DUI.15 + or refusal and violating a stop sign or yield sign.
Williams was located by the Howard County Sheriff’s Office and is lodged in the Hall County Jail.
