Multiple commercial business burglaries reported in Kearney

Authorities are reporting multiple burglaries of commercial businesses in central Nebraska.

KEARNEY, Neb. -- Authorities are reporting multiple burglaries of commercial businesses in central Nebraska.

According to the Kearney Police Department, officers received four reports of burglaries on the north side of town.

Officers said the burglaries happened during the overnight hours of Monday and the early morning hours of Tuesday.

The businesses burglarized were Papa John’s, Jersey’s Sports Bar and Grill, Upper Room Brewery and Simply Blessed.

55-year-old John Forrest from Kearney has been arrested as a suspect in two of the burglaries. 

Police are still investigating.
