GRAND ISLAND, NE - Grand Island Police were busy responding to complaints involving juveniles over the weekend.
One teenager is in custody after an investigation on Friday.
Police say they found a stolen Bobcat side by side parked in the 500 block of W Louise Street. Officers obtained and executed a search warrant for the house, finding marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They say a 16-year-old boy exited the house with two guns concealed in his waistband. Officers say one gun was stolen and the other had a defaced serial number. The boy also had four juvenile detention orders and was taken to a secure detention center.

Police say an attempted traffic stop for tinted car windows in Grand Island led to a pursuit and drug bust over the weekend.
According to a news release, an officer noticed a car with exceptionally tinted windows and attempted a traffic stop near 11th Ave. and Broadwell Ave. The officer says the car sped away, hit a curb and blew past a stop sign. The car eventually stopped and police arrested three boys, two of them 17 and one of them 16 years old, after searching the area.
Police say the driver had a suspended license and they found more than five ounces of marijuana, mushrooms, THC vape pens, drug paraphernalia and THC wax. One of the boys had an adult arrest warrant and was booked into Hall County Corrections. The other two were placed by juvenile probation.
