Mary Lanning Healthcare wins Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for seventh time
Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings is being honored again for engaging its workforce.
By News Channel NebraskaHASTINGS, NE — Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings is being honored again for engaging its workforce.
MLH recently won the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for the seventh time. The award recognized the hospital for its ability to create an engaged workplace culture.
“At Mary Lanning Healthcare, high engagement translates directly into high patient satisfaction and better care for our patients,” Vice President of Human Resources Bruce Cutright said in a news release. “During the pandemic, the employees did not give up on the culture we have built over the years.”
Award winners must meet several criteria including having employees participate in the Gallup Q12 survey and a demonstrated link between engagement and business outcomes. Other winners of the 2022 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award include Verizon, Progressive, DTE Energy and Mars, Inc.
“We congratulate our employees on staying engaged even through hard times,” President and CEO Eric Barber said. “We will use this award not as a stopping point, but as a standard by which to measure continued efforts.”
