Sutton teen dies in hunting accident

A teenager from Sutton has died following injuries from a hunting accident.

AURORA, Neb. -- A teenager from Sutton has died following injuries from a hunting accident. 

The Hamilton County Sheriff's office said 17-year-old Caleb Ladehoff died Tuesday at a Lincoln hospital where he was being treated.

He had suffered a gunshot wound while hunting with friends. 

The incident happened on May 1st in southern Hamilton County.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's office and the Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the shooting.
