Superior teen identified in fatal Hastings crash

A 32-year-old Hastings man has been arrested in connection to a crash that killed a 16-year-old Superior girl.

HASTINGS, Neb. -- A Hastings man has been arrested after a fatal crash that killed a south-central Nebraska teenager.

32-year-old Anthony Pingel was arrested after the crash on December 12 east of Hastings.

Authorities say the two-vehicle crash killed two people, one of whom was identified by Adams County authorities as 16-year-old Victoria Fleming of Superior.

Pingel has bonded out of jail. He's due in court for his first appearance on January 6.
