Man Sentenced For Fatal 2019 Crash In Buffalo County

A California man found guilty for the deaths of three people in a 2019 crash in Buffalo County will spend several years behind bars.

KEARNEY - A California man found guilty for the deaths of three people in a 2019 crash in Buffalo County will spend several years behind bars.
 
Buffalo County court records show 36-year-old Kenneth Kratt was sentenced Thursday to three to five years in prison for three counts of manslaughter.
 
He had pleaded no contest back in October.
 
According to authorities, Kratt was driving a semi near Gibbon on I-80 in 20-19 when it hit the back of several vehicles that had slowed down for construction.
 
The crash killed 37-year-old Ryan Vanicek, 50-year-old Daniel Seelhoff, and 54-year-old Scott Gaylor.
 

Three others were injured in the crash.
