Multiple schools in the southern panhandle and northeast Colorado plan to honor those who have served the U.S. in the military Thursday.

Sidney, Creek Valley, Potter-Dix, South Platte and Peetz, Colo. all have Veteran's Day Programs scheduled. 

Sidney's will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Performing Arts Center at Sidney High School. The program is put on by the district's third graders. 

Thursday morning, Creek Valley and Potter-Dix will both have their programs. 

Creek Valley's will start at 10 a.m. Thursday in the gym at Creek Valley High School. The school's seniors will serve coffee and rolls to veterans in attendance starting at 9 a.m. The school will livestream their program on its YouTube channel. 

Potter-Dix's program also begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Potter-Dix High School gym in Potter. Following the program, the school will hold a pep rally and send off for the Coyotes football team who plays in the six-man football playoff semifinals on Friday against Spalding Academy. 

South Platte has a Veteran's Day program set for 1 p.m. Thursday at the school in Big Springs. Peetz Public School in Colorado will have a program from 2-3 p.m. Thursday.
