Boone Central student in custody after alleged threats

Authorities are investigating after a Boone Central student allegedly made threats toward students, both in person and via social media.

ALBION, Neb. – Authorities are investigating after a Boone Central student allegedly made threats toward students, both in person and via social media.

The Albion Police Department said the threat was investigated on Thursday, and the student is currently in custody.

Legal action is pending, and the case is still under investigation. The Nebraska State Patrol is assisting the Albion Police Department with the investigation.

An email was sent from Boone Central Superintendent Nicole Hardwick to parents in the school district addressing the situation Thursday morning.
