At Ease USA offering support for health care workers with PTSD
Experts worry about health care workers that are experiencing forms of PTSD from the pandemic and not getting the treatment they need.
Experts worry about health care workers since the pandemic began, with some experiencing forms of PTSD and not getting the treatment they need.
A company called “At Ease USA” is hoping to change that.
“We were approached by a health system in Omaha and asked us to help treat their front-line health care workers. So, we’ve expanded our mission from not only veterans, active duty members, and their loved ones with PTSD, but have also included the front line health care workers,” said Laura Fischer, Clinical Manager, At Ease USA.
The treatment they provide isn’t just a couple of sessions here and there, it is provided around the clock.
“We don’t just meet once a month or once a quarter or don’t do this just 8-5, we do this 24 hours a day,” added Ryan Kaufman, Board Secretary, At Ease USA.
If you or somebody you know is suffering from PTSD or forms of depression, give "At Ease USA" a call at (531) 247-4040 or visit their website.
