(Peru, Neb.) – The 2021-22 version of the Peru State Women's Golf team will be very young. While the group is bigger than previous year's teams, hopefully the two returners can lead this young team into post-season play.

The returners for the golf team are senior Taylor Finke (Battle Creek) and sophomore Brooklyn Brenneis (Tekamah).

The newcomers for this year's golf team are freshmen Jayden Duff (Pittsburg, Kan.), Carly Johnson (Schuyler), Jadyn Kinkaid (Laurel), Oliva McAsey (Holton, Kan.), Lacy Weigel (Colby), and Lara Wells (Girard, Kan.).

Finke has been the team's top golfer over the past four seasons and is using the extra year which was awarded to NAIA student-athletes due to the pandemic. She has medaled in five different tournaments during her time on the Bobcat golf team. In addition, Finke earned CoSIDA All-District All-America® At-Large honors this past year.
