Goldendoodle to be certified therapy dog at BPD

Moe, a goldendoodle, will be a certified therapy dog at BPD.

The Bellevue Police Department is showing off their latest addistion to the force.

Meet "Moe" - the goldendoodle will eventually become a certified therapy dog. 

BPD will use the dog to offer emotional support to officers and people during traumatic events and community outreach. 

Moe is named after Colorado State Patrol Master Trooper Will Moden. 

The addition of a therapy dog has been in the works for a few months. 

The department also has four does in its K9 Unit.
