GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A deer must have had some business to do at the Hall County Courthouse.

Facilities director Loren Humphrey says he got a call Tuesday morning that a deer had broken through one of the windows at the courthouse in Grand Island.

He says the deer jumped through one side, wreaked havoc in one of the rooms and then jumped out the other side of the window pane.

Hall County authorities estimate the damage will likely cost a couple hundred dollars, mainly to replace the glass.

There was no sign of the deer as it got away, but a little bit of hair was left behind.
