LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Isaiah Stevens scored 18 points with eight rebounds and eight assists and Colorado State knocked Utah State out of a first-place tie in the Mountain West Conference with an 84-76 win.

Kendle Moore added 16 points for the Rams, who lost to the Aggies 83-64 on Tuesday night. David Roddy and Dischon Thomas had 15 points apiece as CSU made 11 of 12 free throws in the final two minutes, scoring the most points against Utah since the Aggies gave up 85 in losing their season opener.

Brock Miller scored 14 points for Utah State.

Johnson sinks winning FTs, N. Colorado beats E. Washington

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Matt Johnson II sank two free throws with 1.7 seconds remaining as Northern Colorado fought past Eastern Washington 78-76 in a see-saw game with 10 lead changes and eight ties.

Johnson and Daylen Kountz each scored 22 points for Northern Colorado. Tre’Shon Smoots added 15 points, hitting five 3-pointers, and had a career-best six assists for Northern Colorado. Bodie Hume added 10 points.

Tanner Groves had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles. Tyler Robertson added 16 points. Jacob Davison had 11 points.
