It’s the sixth win in the last seven games for the Lady Cardinals.
Alliance did score first, but Chadron ended the quarter on a 16-3 run to take control early on.
After an even played second quarter, Chadron held the Lady Bulldogs to just a single lay-up in the third quarter as the lead grew to 22.
Demi Ferguson was the only player in double figures with 12 points.
Chadron’s third win in a row improves their record to 8-5 on the season. They are at Gering next Friday.
Cardinals have rough night in Alliance
The Chadron boys held a 2-0 lead over Alliance for almost half of the first quarter but the Bulldogs ended the quarter on a 9-0 en route to a 66-32 win over the Cardinals on Friday night.
Chadron failed to capitalize on several opportunities at the basket in the opening period and allowed Alliance to carry all the momentum into the second quarter as the deficit grew to 32-10 by the half.
Justus Alcorn led Chadron with 10 points.
Chadron drops to 8-5 on the season and will travel to Gering next Friday.
