Omaha man facing charges related to fatal shooting

Omaha Police say Brevin Fleming was arrested on Thursday on charges of 1st-degree murder, 1st-degree felony assault, and weapons violations.

OMAHA, Neb. -- A man is facing a murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting in Omaha.

Omaha Police say 22-year-old Brevin Fleming was arrested on Thursday on charges of 1st-degree murder, 1st-degree felony assault, and weapons violations.

Police originally responded to 24th Street in Omaha last week where they found 21-year-old Desmond Edwards and 22-year-old Jumeez Sherman with gunshot wounds.

Sherman later died from his injuries at Nebraska Medical Center.
