Police investigating homicide after north Omaha shooting

OMAHA, Neb. – A 25-year-old woman is dead following gunshots in north Omaha Tuesday night.

Omaha Police responded to the scene near 40th Avenue and Bedford where they found the woman unresponsive.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition where she later died.
