Photos: High Winds Create Path Of Destruction From York To Auburn

NEBRASKA CITY-Severe thunderstorms blew through portions of Southeast Nebraska late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

AUBURN-Severe thunderstorms blew through portions of Southeast Nebraska late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.  The primary threat of these storms was extremely high winds. The National Weather Service in Hastings confirmed winds of 79 mph at the York airport.  Numerous reports of damage to trees and buildings stretched along a line from York to Auburn.
