SIDNEY, NE - The Cheyenne County Historical Society says it is postponing the start of its Summer tours of the Cheyenne County Museum and Fort Sidney Commander's home.

Historical Society President Roger Jorgensen said the move is being made as a precaution due to COVID-19.

The museum had hoped to have open guided tours on Memorial Day weekend, but that is being pushed back.

Jorgensen said there will be phone numbers posted on the front door of the Museum and Commander's Home. People can call those numbers to get more information and to schedule a tour for a later time.
