Two new COVID-19 cases in Scotts Bluff County
SCOTTSBLUFF, NE — Health officials say there are two new cases of the coronavirus in the Nebraska panhandle.
Panhandle Unified Command says two new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Friday in Scotts Bluff County. The cases are a woman in her 50s and a teenage boy. There have been 49 confirmed cases of the virus in the panhandle. 37 of those cases are considered recovered.
The Panhandle Public Health District will be under new Directed Health Measure Guidance starting Monday. Restaurants, salons, childcare centers and other in-person businesses will be able to open as long as they follow certain guidelines.
