GRAND ISLAND - An Adams County Walmart may have been a point of exposure for COVID-19.

The South Heartland District Health Department reported late Thursday that a contact investigation of three previous positive cases of COVID-19 were all working at Walmart in Hastings between March 26th and April 5th.

Health department officials say they are working with management at the store to finish contact investigations and work on employee recommendations.

They're asking anyone who thinks they may have been exposed to self-monitor for 14 days...and call a health care provider if they exhibit any symptoms.
