Additional Staffer Tests Positive At Gage County Facility

Another positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Gage County, and is related to 14 previous cases.

Another positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Gage County, and is related to 14 previous cases.

Public Health Solutions reports an additional lab-confirmed COVID-19 case, which is an employee of the assisted living facility that has previously reported 14 cases. The staffer is currently self-quarantining at home, and PHS disease surveillance staff is actively monitoring the patient.

The new case bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Gage County to 24, 15 of which have come from the same assisted living facility.

There are still no confirmed cases reported in the other counties of Fillmore, Jefferson, Saline, and Thayer which PHS covers.
