Panhandle health facilities accepting handmade PPE donations

Multiple hospitals in the Panhandle are now accepting handmade mask and surgical glove donations.

Multiple hospitals in the Panhandle are now accepting handmade mask and surgical glove donations.

Officials with Panhandle Public Health say eight health care providers in the Panhandle are looking for protective equipment.

Some health care facilities are looking for different types of equipment and have different preferences how certain equipment should be made.

It is recommended to call the contact for each facility to see what they need before donating. 

A full list of what hospitals are accepting and what they are accepting can be found below:

Box Butte General Hospital:

- Accepting masks with two different fabrics on front and back, a pocket and adjustable nosewire
