OMAHA - A Madison man will spend nearly six years behind bars after a conviction for conspiracy to distribute meth.
37-year-old Darren Dominiack was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison during a federal court hearing in Omaha on Monday.
U.S. Attorney Joe Kelly says a cooperating witness started buying meth from Dominiack in May last year. Kelly says during five separate buys, the cooperator purchased nearly 70 grams of meth. A probation search in June revealed more than 100 grams of meth in Dominiack's room at a half-way house in Madison.
There is no parole in the federal system and Dominiak will be required to serve a 4-year term of supervised release.
