St. Paul outlasts Wahoo in C1 quarterfinals

LINCOLN - In a game that wasn't short on buzzer-beaters, it was a missed last-second shot that proved to be the difference.

Kendal Brigham's potential game-tying three as time expired missed, allowing #4 St. Paul to topple #5 Wahoo 41-38 at the Bob Devaney Sports Arena.

Sophomore Amber Kosmicki hit three 3-pointers, including one to beat the buzzer at the end of the third, pacing the Wildcat scoring with 13 points.

St. Paul now moves on to face top-seed Lincoln Christian in semi-finals on Friday.
