Interstate 80 in Nebraska Panhandle reopens

SIDNEY, NE - The Nebraska Department of Transportation has reopened the westbound lanes of I-80 in the Nebraska Panhandle. U.S. Highway 30 is also open westbound to the Wyoming State line.

SIDNEY, NE - The Nebraska Department of Transportation has reopened the westbound lanes of I-80 in the Nebraska Panhandle. 

U.S. Highway 30 is also open westbound to the Wyoming State line. 

The sections were previously closed from Big Springs to the border because of winter weather conditions in Wyoming. 

The Wyoming Department of Transportation also announced that I-80 is open in both directions from the Nebraska State line to Laramie. 

Parts of the I-80 in Wyoming remain closed, especially in the central part of the state.
