Fire Destroys Rural Rushville Home

Sheridan County fire officials say a fire destroyed a rural residence about 5-miles southeast of Rushville Monday morning.

RUSHVILLE - Sheridan County fire officials say a fire destroyed a rural residence about 5-miles southeast of Rushville Monday morning.

Hay Springs Fire Chief Craig Housh says the fire has a good head start by the time they got to the scene around 8 a.m.

Hay Springs and Rushville Fire Departments responded to the fire.

The cause of the fire or reports of any injuries are unknown at this time.
