OMAHA - Omaha fire investigators say "hoarder conditions" complicated the effort to put-out a fire late Monday night in a home near 26th and Spaulding.

The occupant of the home was burning wood for heat inside. No one was injured and the fire is deemed to be accidental.

Firefighters received the call for help around 11:00 p.m. Monday and arrived to find flames leaping from the roof of the single-family home.

Neighbors went to the home and banged on the door to alert them to the fire.

Investigators believe the house, valued at $21,900, is a total loss. Omaha Fire investigators say one adult occupants was displaced by the fire.
