Lincoln County Man Accused of Sexual Assault
A Wallace man is accused of sexually assaulting a child at the Sutherland Reservoir this past summer and possibly at other times.
By News Channel NebraskaSUTHERLAND - A Wallace man is accused of sexually assaulting a child at the Sutherland Reservoir this past summer and possibly at other times.
Lincoln County Sheriff officials say 65-year-old Richard Moore was arrested after an investigation.
Officials first learned of the assault last week.
Moore was arrested several days later after a warrant was issued for First and Third Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
Perkins County Deputies searched Moore's rural home just outside of Lincoln County.
Authorities removed two trailers filled with suspected evidence.
Officials say the investigation is not over and there could be more charges.
