KEARNEY - Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol conducted alcohol inspections in Kearney and Buffalo Counties.

In a news release from the NSP, 62 businesses were inspected and two of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 97%.

47 businesses were inspected in Buffalo County and 15 in Kearney County.

Both with one selling to a minor.

Businesses that fail the inspections are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.

Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
