NEBRASKA - Authorities are on flash flood watch starting midnight tonight to Saturday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, the greatest risk of flooding is expected in parts of southeast Nebraska.

Cities like Omaha is expected to receive 1.5 to 2 inches of rain.

Officials say a slight risk of flooding is expected Thursday night into Friday, sometime around midnight.

Officials warn that heavy rain could cause river levels to rise.

That risk is expected to increase as it gets closer to the weekend.
