Body of second missing fisherman located in Webster County

The body of the second fisherman that went missing Friday afternoon has been found.

WEBSTER COUNTY - The body of the second fisherman that went missing Friday afternoon has been found.

The Webster County Sheriff's Department says the body was found about one and a half miles downriver from the dam Monday afternoon.

The search for the two men began on Friday. One man's body was located on Sunday morning at the Diversion Dam near Guide Rock.

The Webster County Sheriff's Office says the two were fishing at a dam on the river when they were pulled underwater water current.

Guide Rock, Red Cloud, Hebron and Deshler Fire and rescue squads assisted in the search.

The names of two fisherman have not yet been released.
