Two men killed in crash on U.S. Highway 34

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Bellevue.

BELLEVUE - Two men were pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Bellevue.

Around 11 AM, Sarpy County Sheriff's Deputies were called the scene one mile east of the Highway 75 and Highway 34 Junction.

Authorities say they found a sedan and a semi-trailer that had collided.

The driver of the car and a passenger were killed.

The semi driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities say Highway 34 from the Harlan Lewis Road to 8th Street will be closed in both directions for several hours.
