Small Nebraska post office reopens months after flooding

An outside contractor was hired to clean up the mess the flooding left behind, and postal operations moved three miles away to Morse Bluff.
The North Bend office finally reopened late last month.
Postal Clerk Cindy Madsen says having the post office back will help the community get back to normal.
The office handles 800 to 900 rural deliveries a day and covers the towns of Ames, Morse Bluff, Rogers and North Bend. It also has 350 post office boxes.
