All three of the state's Division I baseball teams have reached the NCAA tournament.

Creighton, Nebraska and UNO were all included in the 64-team field unveiled Monday. The Bluejays and Mavericks qualified after winning their respective conference tournaments. The Huskers received an at-large bid after NU finished as runner-up at the Big Ten tournament in Omaha.
Creighton - making its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2012 - is headed to the Corvallis Regional as a No. 2 seed. They'll be joined there by Oregon State, Cincinnati and Michigan. The Jays will open the tournament on Friday at 3 p.m. against No. 3 seed Michigan.

Nebraska, in the NCAA tournament for the third time in four years, will be a No. 3 seed in the Oklahoma City Regional. The field there also includes Oklahoma State, Harvard, and UConn. The Huskers face 2-seed UConn on Friday at noon.

UNO is in the NCAA tournament for the first time since moving up to Division I. The Mavs will head to the Los Angeles Regional as a No. 4 seed with UCLA, Loyola Marymount and Baylor. They'll begin their postseason run Friday at 9 p.m. against No. 1 seed UCLA.
The NCAA tournament begins with 16 four-team regionals. Each regional is double elimination, and the winner advances to the super regional. There are eight super regionals, each featuring a best-of-three series between two teams. The eight super regional winners advance to the College World Series in Omaha, which begins June 15 at TD Ameritrade Park.
