NORFOLK - Winter has officially arrived with the first snowfall of the year.
Residents of Norfolk have come to expect visits from old man winter. Local business owner, Jay Putter, was not caught off guard by the snow.
“Well it's never welcome but it's November in Nebraska so we have to expect it,” said Putter.
Not everyone was unhappy to see the snow. Norfolk resident, Nick Meyer, says the snow reminds him of the holidays.
“I think it's good though you know. I like to have snow around the holidays and stuff like that and with Thanksgiving coming up it kind of makes it a little more festive,” said Meyer.
Meyer seems to be getting his wish as Norfolk could see any where from 3 to 6 inches of snow.
