Water rescue effort underway for 10 people trapped near Norfolk

NORFOLK - Rescue officials are working to rescue 10 people trapped on Channel Road just southeast of the Highway 274 and 24 junction near Norfolk. According to Norfolk Public Safety Director Shane Weidner, Norfolk Fire and Rescue, together with the Stanton County Sheriff's Department are using a Game and Parks boat to get to the house where water has risen above the basement windows.
