Single-Vehicle Accident Sends One to Hospital

NORFOLK, NE - One man is in the hospital after an accident Monday night.
The Norfolk Police Department and Norfolk Rescue responded to the scene of single-vehicle accident in the 100 block of Elm Street around 10:30 PM. The accident occurred on the Elm Street Bridge. The sedan came to rest on its side on the east side of the bridge.
Authorities on scene say one person was transported to Faith Regional Health Services. The extent of injuries and the cause of the accident are unclear at this time.
