Syracuse man accused of intent to deliver meth

NEBRASKA CITY - Vincent Taylor, 59, of Syracuse is charged in Otoe County with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of Xanax, possession of money during a drug violation and failure to apply a drug stamp tax.
The Nebraska State Patrol arrested Taylor on Jan. 28.
A bond of $50,000 was set in county court.
The Otoe County Attorney’s Office has also filed legal proceedings to claim $1,554 linked to Taylor.
A complaint filed by Jennifer Panko-Rahe said a State Patrol sergeant seized $1,554 on Jan. 18.
In a separate case, Michael Vaars, 37, of Colfax, Calif., is charged with possession of a stolen firearm on Jan. 3.
An Otoe County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a firearm was found in a Highway 2 traffic stop. The firearm was reported stolen out of Georgia.
In other county court cases, Luis Urtiz, 23, of Nebraska City is charged with terroristic threats on Jan. 24.
A Nebraska City police affidavit says police investigated after a photo of a shotgun was displayed on a FaceTime call along with threats. Urtiz told investigators that the photo was not current.
Dakota Allen, 30, of Sidney, Iowa, is charged with possession on Jan. 22.
A police affidavit says Xanax pills were found on a seat where Allen was sitting in a patrol vehicle.
