BRIDGEPORT, Neb. — Conference championships will be on the line when the Minuteman Activities Conference Basketball Tournament tips off Jan. 19 and runs through Jan. 24.

The tournament opens with first-round games Monday and Tuesday at home sites before shifting to Bridgeport High School for semifinal games Thursday and championship and third-place contests Saturday. All consolation games will also be played in Bridgeport.

Garden County enters the tournament as the top seed on both the boys and girls sides. On the girls bracket, Garden County opens against Creek Valley, while Banner County and Potter-Dix highlight the upper half of the field. South Platte and Minatare, and Bayard and Leyton round out the bracket.

On the boys side, Garden County faces Banner County in its opening game. Leyton is seeded second, followed by Potter-Dix and South Platte, with Bayard, Creek Valley and Minatare completing the field.
