SIDNEY – Cheyenne County Chamber Members met Saturday to celebrate the year’s achievements.

The annual banquet was held at the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds, catered by Outlaws Cafe & Catering, JimmyL’s and Price Cream. 

The night focused on the strength of the county and its businesses, the character need to keep moving forward, Chamber Director Joe McCarn said in his annual report. He said the Chamber’s mission drives every decision it makes. He said the Chamber is here to drive economic vitality by empowering local businesses and embracing the quality of life in Cheyenne County. 

The night included recognizing businesses and individuals and their 2025 achievements.  

The Heroes Among Us award was presented posthumously by Chamber President Joe McCarn. 

“This award carries a special weight because we’re honoring a man who is no longer sitting with us, but whose presence is felt in every corner of the room,” McCarn said. 

The award was presented for John Phillips, to Kim Phillips and the Fox Theater staff.
