GRAND ISLAND, Neb.— ZZ Top and Dwight Yoakam are scheduled to hit the Heartland Events Center stage in 2026.

This pairing of rock and country music will headline on Friday, March 27.

With more than 50 years of music history, ZZ Top will be playing his guitar riffs and blues-driven classics like, “La Grange,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Gimme All Your Lovin.”

Joining them is Grammy Award-winning Dwight Yoakam with his signature Bakersfield sound in hits like, “Guitars, Cadillacs,” “Fast as You,” and “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere.”

Heartland Events Center Executive Director Kyler Tarwater said the show is one of the biggest bookings the venue has brought to Grand Island.

“This is a massive night of music for our community,” said Tarwater. “ZZ Top and Dwight Yoakam each sell out venues on their own - putting them together on one stage is something special. Fans will get rock, country and everything in between. It’s the kind of event that draws people from all across Nebraska.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at both the HEC Box Office as well as online via Ticketmaster.com.
