NORFOLK - The Norfolk Panthers earn their fourth straight win after a late goal put them ahead of the Lincoln North Star Navigators for the 2-1 victory.

The Panthers got off to a hot start as Isidro Rosas scored his 8th goal of the season in just the 5th minute of the contest, putting Norfolk on top 1-0.

Norfolk held most of the possession in the first 20 minutes, but the Gators began to take control, although not gathering a goal.

In the second half, Lincoln North Star raised the tempo and controlled the momentum. Things finally paid off for the Gators off an Oscar Palacios cross to Edwin DeLuna, who drilled the equalizer in the 63rd minute.

Just three minutes later and fresh off the bench, captain Wil Anderson collected a chance and took the shot that changed the game. Anderson's goal beat the keeper and put Norfolk back on top 2-1.

The Gators battled late, tempers flaring on both sides with yellow cards being traded to both squads.

Lincoln North Star had one final chance, but Maddox Furst made the stop to secure the win.

The Panthers move to 4-1 on the season, while Lincoln North Star drops to 0-3.
