CRETE, Neb. – The Doane offense put up over 500 yards and held Waldorf to less than 250 yards to win its first game of the year.

The Warriors (0-3) missed a field goal on their first drive, and Doane responded with an 80-yard touchdown drive, capped off by a 2-yd touchdown rush by James Miles. 

The Tigers scored two field goals in the first half, and capped off the second quarter with a 1-yd touchdown rush by Reece Zutavern to lead 19-0 at the break. 

Waldorf couldn't get anything going offensively, and punted five times, and turned the ball over on downs twice. 

Rian Green had the best night for Doane on the ground, rushing for 131 yards. Sam Hartmann completed 17 passes for 255 yards. 

Waldorf scored its lone touchdown with two minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Jonathan Johnson picked up his first win as Doane Head Coach.

Doane improves to 1-2, and Waldorf falls to 0-3 in the GPAC.
