Connie was born June 6, 1954, in Arnold, NE to Robert and Mona (Sargent) Crow. She graduated from Arnold High School in 1972 and attended Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. Connie worked her way up the chain at the U.S. Post Office, working at the mail distribution center in North Platte, mail carrier and clerk in Cozad, and finally was Postmaster in Stratton and Stamford, NE; retiring in 2011.

Connie loved playing cards with anyone who would play with her, her children and grandchildren would tease her with changing the rules if she was not winning. She started hosting the family Easter dinner after her mother was unable to do so, and if you happen to know anything about the Crow Easter dinners there were a lot of relatives that gathered together. Unfortunately, this came to an end as everyone started living farther apart. Connie loved spending her time outside and was always working on a project. She started to travel to Arizona for the winters around six years ago and fell in love with the life and community of friends she found there. Connie was part of a breakfast club, loved to entertain, and was known to have baked goods ready all of the time for her friends and neighbors during her time in Arizona. During the summers in Nebraska, she taught her granddaughters how to bake pies, often donating baked goods and Christmas candy to the police stations in Kearney and Hastings. Connie loved spending time with her family and friends, her grandchildren meant the world to her.

Connie was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
