Grand Island Public Library receives $300,000 gift
A central Nebraska public library is receiving a significant contribution.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - A central Nebraska public library is receiving a significant contribution.
According to the city of Grand Island, the Byron and Jan Moore Trust is donating $307,992.34 to the Grand Island Public Library.
Library Director Celine Swan said the money will be used for artwork, bestsellers and for special or historic materials.
“The Moore’s generosity is greatly appreciated and will enhance the library’s amazing collections that are available for our community.”
