GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-- A new entertainment destination has been unveiled for a central Nebraska mall that’s under construction.

In a social media post, the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce announced that B&B Theaters will be at the Conestoga Marketplace.

The theater will feature seven screens with heated recliner seating, a state-of-the-art 10-lane bowling alley, a 7,000 square-foot arcade, four full-size indoor/outdoor pickleball courts, and a restaurant with a full-service bar.

The new theater is the second big announcement involving the remodeled mall, following last year's news that Target will be an anchor store.

The $220 million Conestoga Marketplace project is set to include a variety of retail, residential spaces, offices, and more. The whole project will span 50 acres. A 150,000 square-foot retail center is expected to open this year with remaining site work lasting into next year.

B&B is the fifth largest theatre chain in America, with 56 locations in 14 states. This would be the third location in Nebraska.
