HASTINGS, Neb. — The Adams County Fairfest is welcoming five country artists as concert performers this summer.

The fair announced its concert lineup on Friday morning. Tickets go on sale on March 1.

Wednesday, July 17 - Thomas Mac

Thursday, July 18 - Muscadine Bloodline, Chase Matthew

Friday, July 19 - Ian Munsick

Saturday, July 20 - Dustin Lynch

In addition to the musicians, the fair will offer Nebraska’s Roughest Rodeo on Sunday, July 21.

Thomas Mac is an up-and-coming country artist who first performed at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville when he was 20 years old. He has a large social media following with more than three million followers on Tik Tok.

Muscadine Bloodline describes itself as a proudly independent and unapologetically Southern country duo. They hit it big with their single “Porch Swing Angel” seven years ago. The music video and an acoustic version have garnered a combined 26 million views on YouTube.

Chase Matthew is a 25-year-old from the Nashville area who made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry last year. The singer has a different background than many country stars. He dropped out of high school, developed a drug problem and was homeless as a 19-year-old. He dabbled in rap music before launching a country music career and signing with Warner Music Nashville.

Ian Munsick is a Wyoming native with two major-label albums and two certified gold singles. Munsick’s hits “Long Haul” and “Long Live Cowgirls”, the latter of which features Cody Johnson, each reached at least number 54 on the US Country Airplay charts. The musician has toured with Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson. A frequent headliner in Nebraska, Munsick has had his songs streamed more than 400 million times globally.

Dustin Lynch is a singer-songwriter out of Tennessee. He owns two American Country Awards, the 2014 Top New Artist of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music Awards, Video of the Year from the CMT Music Awards and a host of other honors. Lynch has placed 10 singles in the top 60 of the Billboard Hot 100 and has seen three songs reach number two on the US Country charts. He is most known for his songs “Cowboys and Angels”, “Where it’s At” and “Small Town Boy.”

The Adams County Fairfest has traditionally had a large country presence. The fair offered hip hop artists Nelly and Lil Jon the last couple of years but opted for the all-country lineup for 2024.
